Secondary Suites Grant Program Town of Blue Mountains

This program provides financial assistance in the form of a grant of 10% of the cost to create a secondary suite to a maximum of $5000.

Are You Eligible To Apply for

Secondary Suites Grant Program Town of Blue Mountains?

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older

Property must be in The Town of Blue Mountains

Property must be your principal residence

Property taxes must be up-to-date

Creation of the secondary suite must comply with all municipal/building regulations

Funding for Secondary Suites Grant Program Town of Blue Mountains

The grant will be determined by the cost of the work done to create the secondary suite as follows:

Only costs directly related to the creation of the secondary suite are eligible

Soft costs (building permits, inspection fees, etc.) are also eligible

10% of eligible costs to a maximum of $5000

Grant can be accessed one time only

Work started prior to approval is not eligible

Grant is paid upon presentation of an occupancy permit
