The Meadows Of Laurel - Phase 2

The City of Edmonton is introducing Phase 2 of The Meadows of Laurel. This sustainable development is located in Southeast Edmonton, just off of 17 Street at 19 Avenue. The Meadows of Laurel is a new connected, sustainable community that offers close-by amenities, natural green space and easy access to the rest of the City.

The Meadows of Laurel will be made up of sustainably designed and environmentally sensitive homes in a range of desirable styles. With great amenities close by, like The Meadows Community Recreation Centre, the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, retail stores, a library and a K-9 school, as well as a convenient location with quick access to the Anthony Henday and transit, The Meadows of Laurel will be connected and sustainable for everyone.

Starting at $163,000, the available lots (price list & map) consist of:

31 RSL zoned lots - that will be available for sale through a Public Lot Selection process. Many lots back onto a walkway or a pond Area.

Online registration begins on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Wednesday April 8th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.

All homes in The Meadows of Laurel must comply with a set of sustainability and architectural guidelines, including:

building a (PV) solar-ready home and
obtaining third-party certification that the home has achieved an EnerGuide rating of at least 15% lower than “A Typical New Home”; the benchmark home on the EnerGuide label.

All interested buyers are encouraged to attend the Public Information Session on Thursday, March 26, 2020 to learn more about the sustainability requirements and features you can incorporate into your new home. Information on sustainability incentives and rebates will also be available. A Certified Energy Advisor will also be in attendance. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The presentations will start at 7:00 pm.
